Welcome to Zoar

Zoar is a unique name for a church. Zoar is found in the Old Testament as a city of refuge. Life can be burdensome and everyone at some point needs a refuge. Whatever stage of life you may be in or whatever you may be going through there is a place for you here. We hope to be a refuge for you as we connect to Jesus our ultimate refuge.  We are a loving congregation that wants to serve Jesus and serve our neighbors. 

 

The name Zoar also means small and we strive to live out the words of John 3:30 "He must increase, but I must decrease."  We are BIG on Jesus here.   Our vision is to see our church and community TRANSFORMED as we become more like JESUS CHRIST and lead others to Him.
