Zoar is happy to have Dr. Marvin Gobble serving as our Senior Pastor. Dr. Gobble was born February 14th and has been on staff at Zoar for over 12 years. Dr. Gobble has been married to his wife Joy 31 years and has 2 daughters, Suzannah and Emily. Dr. Gobble has his Doctorate of Ministry and has attended school at UNC-Chapel Hill and Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY. Dr. Gobble's vision for his role at Zoar is, "To learn where God is already at work and join Him in His work and to do His work His way." Dr. Gobble enjoys time off at "any beach" and enjoys "Grilled Tilapia, seasoned with dill." However he does not like liver!
